wide initiative, while Sue Doerfer, executive director of the Center, and Lynn Bowman, executive director of Equality Ohio, will keynote. The rally will end at 2 pm.

In the evening at 7 pm, come join hundreds of others at Pilgrim UCC, 2592 West 14th Street, for an ecumenical celebration of the meaning and importance of the day. "We look forward to the progress to come and celebrate this day for all of Cleveland," offers Tumillio.

Following the service, Bounce/Union Station will host a rousing party to cap off the festivities.

"We have much to celebrate. We are happy to be the finale of this important day," says Erin Siwik, manager of Union Station.

The Center asks that if you are going to

register, go to www.lgbtcleveland.org or our Facebook page under Cleveland Domestic Partnership Registry to RSVP. We are providing goody bags and commemorations for all who register and need a fair head count.

"A large turnout will tell not only Cleveland but the future campaigns here and around the state that Ohio is a place everyone can call home" says Bowman.

discuss issues faced on a daily basis. "Our Journey" offers a safe and confidential place for lesbians to gain a connection with peers who can identify, relate, and offer personal insight from one's own personal “journey.”

Kissinger, the group facilitator, says it will cover "exploration of the challenges of being out as a lesbian, including societal pressures, health disparities, personal and professional challenges, hostile environments, and legislation and policy affecting everyday life.”

Building support and developing skills to cope with those challenges will prove to play a positive role in the lives of all participants in the group; a wonderful opportunity to draw support and insight from other lesbians in our community. Meetings are underway and well attended.
